Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

When you use AstralVerdict, we collect:

• Your question text — sent to our server for classification and interpretation. We do not store questions on our servers after processing.
• Approximate location — your latitude and longitude (accurate to ~11km) are needed to cast an accurate horary chart. We do not store location data.
• Device identifier — a RevenueCat anonymous ID for managing your credit balance. This is not linked to your personal identity.
• Reading history — stored locally on your device only. We do not have access to it.

2. How We Use Your Information

Your data is used solely to:

• Calculate a horary astrology chart for the exact moment and location of your question
• Classify your question into an astrological house using AI
• Generate a personalized interpretation of your chart using AI
• Manage your credit balance via RevenueCat

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Anthropic (Claude AI) — processes your question text for classification and interpretation. Subject to Anthropic's Privacy Policy.
• RevenueCat — manages in-app purchases and credit balance. Subject to RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
• Cloudflare — provides DNS, SSL, and DDoS protection for our API.

4. Data Retention

We do not maintain a database of user data. Your questions are processed in real-time and not stored on our servers. Server logs containing truncated question text (first 20 characters) and approximate location (rounded to ~11km) are retained for up to 30 days for debugging purposes, then automatically deleted.

5. Data Security

All data is transmitted via HTTPS/TLS encryption. Our API is protected by Cloudflare's security infrastructure. Access to our servers is restricted to SSH key authentication only.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Delete your local reading history at any time by deleting the app
• Request deletion of any server-side data by contacting [email protected]
• Opt out of location services (though this will prevent chart calculation)

7. Children's Privacy

AstralVerdict is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
